Climate Week NY & One Planet Summit (OPS)

As New York’s Climate Week opened on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, President Macron met Michael Bloomberg on Wednesday, September 26 in New York for a follow-up meeting of the One Planet Summit (OPS). This meeting, organized by the Secretary of State for the Brown Poirson ecology, was the opportunity to confirm the commitments made in December 2017 in Paris.

Finance for Tomorrow particularly welcomes the announcement of a mission entrusted to Mr. Bloomberg to federate Wall Street actors in order to organize a financial initiative dedicated to green and sustainable issues. This announcement was made in line with Finance for Tomorrow’s efforts to support the creation of a counterpart initiative in the United States. Philippe Zaouati & Anne-Claire participated in an event organized by Bloomberg, JP Morgan & Goldman Sachs on September 19 to present the project and encourage New Yorkers to get involved.
