Act4Nature – Finance for Tomorrow is a partner
On July 10, 2018, the association EpE (Enterprises for the Environment) published its “Act4Nature” initiative, bringing together 65 companies around 10 common commitments and 427 individual commitments in order to fight against the alarming erosion of biodiversity.
Preserving natural capital and measuring the risks that the destruction of biodiversity poses to the economy and finance are at the heart of this new movement born with the support and commitment of French actors. This approach echoes the Government’s Biodiversity Plan and the work of the Finance for Tomorrow Group dedicated to Natural Capital and Biodiversity. We congratulate our members who have committed themselves to Act4nature through collective and individual commitments.
The Biodiversity Plan of the government is organized in 6 thematic axes:
- reclaiming biodiversity in the territories;
- build a pollution-free economy with low impact on biodiversity;
- protect and restore nature in all its components;
- develop an ambitious European and international roadmap for biodiversity;
- know, educate, train;
- improve the effectiveness of biodiversity policies.
